1. The official name of GB is United Kingdom of GB and North Ireland.

2. GB situated on the British Isles.

3. It's consist of 4 parts: England, North Ireland, Wales, Scotland.

4. The territory of the GB is about 244,000 square kilometres.  The population is more than 57 million people.

6. The surface of Great Britain varies greatly. The northern and western parts of the country is mountainous and is called the Highlands. All the rest (south, east and centre) is a vast plain which is called the Lowlands.
