My best friend's name is Svetlana and I think she is the best friend of all my schoolmates. We have been friends since we started school and our relationships are still sincere, open-minded, and independent.

Svetlana is a little bit stubborn when it comes to making mutual decisions like whether or not to go to the cinema, invite a friend of ours to the party or not and others. She is very independent and doesn't rely on somebody's else help at all, which makes her very confident and less sociable, but I like these features of character in her. At the same time, she is a very reliable, energetic, and easy-going individual and I can trust her with all my secrets including the most personal ones.

She is a tall, slim girl with straight brown hair and pretty a little pale face. Her eyes are blue and her nose is straight while her leaps are puffy, and it sometimes makes me think that she looks like a beautiful doll. She walks at a fast pace as she has very long legs and this gives you an appearance as if she is late for something.

Svetlana is keen on dancing, so she goes to a local dancing club as often as she can. She also likes swimming and we go to the swimming pool together on Saturdays. Apart from that, she enjoys staying at home and watching Hollywood comedies and thrills.

Like me, Svetlana doesn't like doing sports especially participating in those games where a ball is used. She likes doing morning exercise at home but hates going outside just for a walk or running at a local stadium. She doesn't like some subjects at school, like algebra, geometry, and physics, but I would say that she is not alone who considers these subjects boring.

As I stated above we have been very close friends. And I think this is because we have gone through many bad things together supporting each other in difficult times. We have also shared each other's best and pleasant moments of life. Our friendship is strong and tight as we know that we can rely on each other regardless of what is happening in our lives.
