I am going to talk about homelessness,

As you might know, homelessness is a large problem.

The gist of it is, people do not have the money for sufficent housing to keep away from the streets.

If I may suggest, one of the solutions may be to construct more housing units that are cheaper or construct more homeless shelters, although that would only be a temporary solution.
