The Russian ruble has been used for settlements in Russia since the 13th century. The modern national currency appeared at the end of 1991. Until September 1993, both Soviet-style rubles and new banknotes were accepted in the country. The history of the Russian flag is more than 300 years old. The flag as we know it for the first time was raised in 1693 years. The flag was slightly different from the currently used one, in the center of the tricolor was a golden double-headed eagle.
